AWB has received multiple requests to provide trauma informed care in North Carolina and Florida for communities devastated by Hurricane Helene. Due to the practitioners AWB has trained over the past 19 years and the wonderful supply companies that support us, we are able to ship supplies and help coordinate support provided by local practitioners. Clinics are being set up in Bradenton and Gainesville, FL this week. In North Carolina, due to the need to restore roads, as well as providing shelter, food, water, electricity, and connectivity, acupuncturists in the Asheville area are in the coordinating and planning stage of this effort. Recovery in NC will likely be a long-term response.

We need your help to purchase supplies that can’t be easily donated, ship them, and provide coordination support and emergency training for local practitioners who will be providing direct trauma-informed care in their communities.

It has been extremely hard for me to watch and see all the devastation that has occurred with Hurricane Helene. I can’t even begin to imagine what it is like in these areas. I volunteered as much as I could during Sandy, and I feel this is 100 times worse. I have been looking to see how I could help in anyway. I will be helping The Hazel Project as much as I can and will use my office as a drop off site or can pick up stuff (when I can) to bring to them. I also want to spread the word of all the good they do all year long. I am working on getting in contact with a few families that I would like to try to help directly but will post about that separately. Please take some time if you are local to donate some of the items in the flyer. This collection is only till Sunday. They are located in Montville. WHY WE CLIMB...
Since 2015, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has held the Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb NYC in the One World Observatory. One thousand participants climb 104 stories which symbolizes strength, hope, and the resiliency of the American spirit.
The event celebrates the life and sacrifice of all 9/11 heroes, including FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and FDNY Captain Billy Burke.
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries out its mission to “do good,” by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.

The Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb New York City is on Sunday June 4, 2023. It includes the following events: FIRST RESPONDER & MILITARY, ELITE CLIMBER, ADULT 18 AND OLDER, and YOUNG ADULT (13-17).

Just an update on opening. I don’t have an exact date, but I will be opening sometime in June. I am currently waiting for some supplies I ordered to come in that I need to fulfill the state requirements for reopening. Once I get a date when they will be delivered, I can set a date to open! I will keep everyone posted. So please either write in comments, text my cell or call office (973.331.0035) if you are interested in getting an appointment when I do reopen. I will put you on the list and call you as soon as I have a date to open and go over new guidelines I have to follow and set up an appointment for you. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

So important to practice gratitude daily, especially now. Take a minute everyday and be grateful for all the amazing things we have in our lives and all the amazing things coming our way. According to the law of attraction, likeness attracts likeness, so practicing gratitude will help raise our vibration and keeps us out of that lower vibration that only brings us down and doesn’t serve us. Have a very positive day!!!
