Your Reiki practitioner will place their hands on or above your body in the areas of your chakra centers. There are seven chakras in the body, the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root chakras. A healthy chakra is one that can be palpated in an energy sense by a Reiki practitioner. Healthy energy will move clockwise and be felt approximately six to ten or more inches away from the body. The closer the energy is to the body is an indication that the particular chakra is in need of Reiki. Applications of Reiki energy healing:
Reiki energy healing is often used in cases of infertility, cancer and M.S. When using Reiki in cases of infertility or severe illness, you should commit to one session a week for six weeks. Reiki should never be a replacement to your currant medical treatments but a complimentary treatment with your doctor recommendations.
