On this World Su***de Prevention Day and Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, challenge yourself to become better prepared to support someone who may be struggling.

Join us for an upcoming virtual QPR Training—Question, Persuade, Refer. QPR is a practical suicide-prevention training that helps participants recognize warning signs, start a caring conversation, offer hope, and connect someone to support.
Here’s the challenge: Sign up for a training—and invite a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor to take it with you.

Together, we can change the narrative. Learning together means moving from silence and misunderstanding to openness, empathy, and support. It means creating space for honest conversations, listening without judgment, and reminding people who may be struggling that they are not alone—and that help is available.

Will you take the QPR Challenge? 🤔 Tag someone below to take this challenge with you. 💙💙

September 8 is 988 Day—a national day of action to raise awareness of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and help ensure that everyone knows support is available. 💜

This year’s message is: “988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough.” Whatever you may be facing—big or small—you do not have to wait until you are in crisis to reach out. Whether it is stress, loneliness, emotional pain, substance-use concerns, or simply a need to talk, your reason for seeking support is reason enough.

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential, judgment-free support 24/7. You can call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.

On , we encourage our community to help spread the word: save 988 in your phone, share this post, check in on someone you care about, and remind others that help and hope are always within reach.

Attention, Morgan County! Join Morgan County Mental Health Task Force for Purple & Teal for Hope—a day to unite in raising awareness for Su***de Prevention Month and National Recovery Month.

Wearing purple and teal is more than a show of support. It helps challenge stigma, encourages conversation, and sends a powerful message of hope, connection, and solidarity to those who may be struggling.

Together, we can make sure no one feels alone. We cannot remain silent.
