In another example from earlier this year, North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley threatened legal action and ordered the Prairie Abortion Fund to scrub information off of its website, not because the fund sold pills, but because its site linked to several outside informational resources. The Attorney General primarily focused on the fund’s link to Plan C, meaning the biggest alleged issue was a link to a website that links to other websites where pills can be accessed.

Now, on the near four-year anniversary of that campaign and the Roe decision, RRWC is explaining a new patient fund they rolled out in the spring called the Red River Clinic Fund.

Unlike the earlier GoFundMe, which paid mostly for infrastructure and relocation costs, the new 501(c)(3) fund is designed to be patient-focused.

RRWC has launched a new patient-focused fund to help cover abortion-related costs like travel, interpreters, and basic needs, four years after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

Three Republican Governor Candidates have stated they would like to ban abortions in the state of Minnesota. And on Wednesday, Minnesota DFL Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy and reproductive freedom advocates met to discuss the candidates and share the importance of abortions.

“The event today was just to remind voters of how important and how imperative that access is. And that it truly does matter who is in the State House and who sits in the governor’s chair. And so, I fully have faith that the voters of Minnesota will not sit down and let abortion access go away,” said Tammi Kromenaker.
