Welcoming our newest intern Ellery! Ellery is an advanced doctoral practicum student in clinical psychology at Augsburg University. For the ten years after earning her undergraduate degree in 2011, she worked as a Psychiatric Associate at two Twin Cities hospitals. During her time there, she gained a passion for the field of mental health and a desire to pursue additional education to further her ability to support those in need of services.
Her clinical training has been diverse and rewarding. Ellery has clinical training experiences in s*x offender treatment, correctional psychology, and community mental health. She has acquired a passion for psychological, neuropsychological, and psychos*xual assessment. She has a person-centered approach to both therapy and the assessment process.
Ellery is deeply invested in social justice. She considers advocacy a central part of her identity as a clinician. She hopes to continue lifelong learning in all areas of allyship, as a future clinical psychologist and as an individual.
