This meaningful event brings our community together to remember precious lives, support families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss, and help provide resources through the Carteret Health Care Bereavement Fund.

Carteret Children’s Clinic Families—

After many years of faithfully caring for generations of children and families, Dr. Margaret Merrick is beginning the transition into retirement.

While she will no longer be providing primary care, we’re grateful this isn’t goodbye. Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, Dr. Merrick will continue seeing sick patients on Monday afternoons. After that, she’ll remain part of the Carteret Children’s Clinic family in an as needed role, helping care for patients when our other providers are out of the office.

We know Dr. Merrick has been a trusted physician and friend to so many families over the years. We are deeply thankful for the compassion, dedication, and exceptional care she has shared with our community.
