The event is designed for youth ages 8+, along with their parents, guardians, and supportive adults.

❓ How much does it cost to attend
Absolutely nothing! Admission is completely free.

❓ Do I need to register
Registration is encouraged to help us plan for attendance, activities, and giveaways.

❓ What can attendees expect
Participants can enjoy:

❓ Is this a counseling or therapy event
No. While mental health professionals and resources may be available, Glowing Through It is an educational and awareness event and does not provide therapy services.

❓ Why is youth mental health important
Many young people face challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, bullying, and social pressures. Our goal is to help youth understand that it's okay to ask for help and that they are not alone.

❓ Can parents attend
Yes! Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and learn about available resources and ways to support their children.

❓ Will there be giveaways
Yes! We will have door prizes, giveaways, and other fun surprises throughout the event.

❓ How can I support the event

✨ Glowin Through It Workshops ✨

Growing Minds Therapy is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring and leading workshops at Glowin Through It (Hosted by: It Takes a Village:SMP and St. Mary Parish Youth Prevention Coalition).

These workshops will be led by licensed therapists and will provide a space for teens and preteens to learn more about themselves and connect with their peers through hands-on activities focused on navigating stress, friendships, drama, and social media in everyday life.

Hi, I’m Viki — your friendly neighborhood counselor specializing in children and adolescents in Southeast Louisiana.

I help kids and teens build healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and feel more confident navigating friendships, school challenges, and BIG feelings.

If your child is having frequent meltdowns, getting in trouble at school, struggling socially, or just needs a safe space to talk, you’re not alone. I’m looking for a child/adolescent therapist to join my private practice in Morgan City!

I primarily provide individual counseling services to kids and teens and am looking to bring on another clinician who enjoys working with this population. Flexible schedule, autonomy, and a strong focus on work/life balance (because burnout is real 🥴). Great fit for someone who enjoys working independently but still wants a supportive environment.

Big news for Louisiana therapists!

🚨 Let the Good Times Roll! The Counseling Compact has officially gone live in Louisiana, marking another significant milestone in expanding access to mental health care! Louisiana is the fourth state to grant privileges, joining Arizona, Minnesota and Ohio.

Across the country, 34 additional states and the District of Columbia are actively completing the steps needed to begin issuing and receiving privileges under the Counseling Compact.
