Legacy of Morgan City had everyone laughing with a fun game of “I Trust My Resident”! 😂

Residents took aim with a pool noodle while staff put their trust to the test with a cup balanced on their heads! 🥤🏓

Let’s just say… trust was tested, laughs were had, and everyone had a GREAT time!💚😂

🍪🎶National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day at Legacy of Morgan City💚

We celebrated the sweetest day with chocolate chip cookies, music, dancing, and plenty of smiles! 🍪💃🕺

And the fun got even better when our special visitor from Hope Heathcare & Hospice picked up the guitar and provided the soundtrack for a wonderful afternoon! 🎸💚

There’s nothing sweeter than good treats, good music, and making memories together! 💚🍪🎶

💙 Home is calling, Mr. Michael Kitchens!💙

When Mr. Michael Kitchens came to Legacy of Morgan City, he was facing significant weakness after multiple medical issues and needed extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and independence.

For the past two months, he has shown up each day with determination, courage, and a commitment to reaching his goals. Today, we're celebrating an incredible milestone—Mr. Kitchens is returning home independent and back to his prior level of function.

Watching him grow stronger with every step has been a privilege, and we couldn't be more proud of all he has accomplished. His hard work and perseverance remind us that healing is about more than recovery—it's about hope, resilience, and never giving up.

Congratulations, Mr. Kitchens! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your Legacy family will be cheering you on as you begin this next chapter at home. ❤️🏡

Residents put their artistic talents on display as they designed and decorated their own sun hats with beautiful faux florals. From bright blooms to unique personal touches, each hat was as special as the resident who created it!

A fun afternoon of creativity, laughter, and self-expression resulted in some truly gorgeous wearable masterpieces. ☀️💐
