💜 Your body. Your health. Your voice.

September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month — and no matter your age, knowing what’s normal for you matters.

Changes in your body can be easy to brush off, but you know your body best. If something feels different or just doesn’t seem right, don’t be afraid to ask questions or talk with your healthcare provider.

✨ Know your body.
✨ Know your risk.
✨ Speak up about changes.
✨ Get the care you need.

At the WVU Cancer Institute, our gynecologic cancer teams provide specialized, personalized care backed by research and expertise.

Don’t ignore what your body is telling you. 💜

💛 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Cancer can change a young person’s world in ways no kid, teen or family should have to face alone.

This month, we’re standing with young patients, survivors and families navigating childhood cancer — and celebrating the strength, courage and community that surrounds them. 💛

From treatment and research to friendship and support, every effort matters in helping young people get the care they need and look toward a brighter future.

Wear gold. Share their stories. Show your support. 💛

Some of the strongest connections are built through shared experiences.

If you're an adolescent or young adult affected by cancer, our AYA support group offers a welcoming space to connect, encourage one another, and remember that no one has to face this journey alone.

Hope grows stronger when it's shared. 💙

💜 Let's walk together.

Whether you're a survivor, caregiver, friend, family member, or ally, your support matters.

Join us Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. at the West Virginia Botanic Garden for the WVU Cancer Institute's Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Walk. Together, we'll honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and raise awareness for gynecologic cancers.

✨ Registration is FREE and includes:
👕 A commemorative T-shirt
📸 A group photo
🎁 A chance to win a prize by participating in our fundraising challenge

Every dollar raised supports the WVU Cancer Institute's Gynecologic Cancer Support Fund, helping patients and families across West Virginia.

Bring your friends, your family, or your support crew — and let's make every step count. 💜
