We wrapped up Supportive Living Week in true 1950s style—and let’s just say… we may still be recovering from all the fun. Because around here, every moment matters. ✨

The day started off strong with some 1950s chair dancing (yes, those moves were smoother than a jukebox hit), followed by a hula hoop contest where we quickly discovered some hidden talents—and a few sore hips. 💃🌀

Things really revved up with our drag races, car hop contest, and a very competitive paper straw blowing contest. Who knew blowing through a straw could get so intense? 🚗😂

Lunch took us straight to the golden age with McDonald’s cheeseburgers, French fries, and stuffed celery, topped off with pineapple upside-down cake, root beer floats, and ice cream sundaes. 🍔🍟🍦

We ended the day with a sock hop and live entertainment, and the dance floor was full of twists, turns, and a whole lot of laughter. 🎶🕺

What a week it has been. Thank you to our amazing residents, families, friends, and staff for making it so special. You made memories we won’t soon forget. ❤️

We’re on Day 4 of Supportive Living Week and living our best “Every Moment Matters” life—1980s style 🎉🕺💃

We kicked off the morning getting physical with some Jane Fonda sit-tercise 💪🩷 (leg warmers optional, but highly encouraged 🧦). From there, our creativity shined during 80s Paint & Sip 🎨🍷, followed by some totally tubular rounds of 80s Bingo 🎶🔢

Lunch was a throwback feast featuring chicken Kiev 🍗, garlic mashed potatoes 🥔, green beans 🥗, and a dessert that stole the show—Robert Redford pie 🍰✨ (yes, it’s as good as it sounds 😋)

Between the laughs 😂, the music 🎶, and a few questionable dance moves 🕺, today proved that the 80s never really left us—they just got more comfortable seating 🪑💕

Stay tuned… who knows what decade we’ll travel to next ⏳🎉

We turned back the clock to the groovy 1970s for Day 3 of our Decades Celebration, and what a far-out day it was ✌️🕺

We started the morning testing our knowledge with some totally tubular 70s trivia 🧠✨, then hit the road for a fun visit to the Grundy County Senior Fair 🎡🎶. Lunch kept the retro vibes going with a classic menu of tuna noodle casserole, sweet peas, minestrone soup, and everyone’s favorite throwback treat—Watergate pudding 🍲🥄

The fun didn’t stop there. Residents got creative making their own lava lamps 🧪🌈 before boogieing down and dancing the night away at the Pointes Disco 💃🪩

Peace, love, and lots of laughter filled the day—because during Supportive Living Week, every moment matters ❤️

🎉 Supportive Living Week continued today as we stepped back into the 1940s!
After yesterday’s groovy 60s day, we slowed things down and had a blast with swing exercise, 1940s war trivia, and a special visit from the Grundy County Historical Society, who shared about the 1940s and the history of the Morris area. 🕰️📻

🍽️ For lunch, we enjoyed a classic 1940s meal of pork tenderloin with gravy, roasted veggies, applesauce, split pea soup, and finished it off with delicious lazy daisy cake for dessert! 😋

What a wonderful day of learning, laughter, and good old-fashioned fun! 💙✨

Today we took a trip back to the groovy 1960s as part of our Supportive Living Week celebration! ✌️🎶

From peace sign scavenger hunts to tie-dye shirt creations, the fun never stopped. Our residents and staff got into the spirit by dressing in their best 60s attire, bringing lots of smiles, laughter, and a little extra flair to the day. Karaoke bingo had everyone singing along and enjoying the moment together!

Lunch was just as far out, featuring sloppy joes, Saugatuck veggies, potato salad, and delicious cheesecake to top it all off.

At the heart of it all, we were reminded that “Every moment matters,” and today was filled with moments of joy, connection, and unforgettable memories.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of Supportive Living Week brings! 💛

We might need to start a “Chef of the Year” award… because Jasper is on 🔥 this week!

Lunch had everyone doing a happy dance with smothered pork chops, steamed Brussels sprouts, and rosemary roasted potatoes… and just when we thought it couldn’t get better—BOOM 💥 homemade ice cream cake for dessert! 🍰🍦

And this morning? Jasper said “let’s keep the magic going” with delicious French toast piled high with all the toppings. Syrup was flowing, smiles were glowing, and let’s just say… no plates went back to the kitchen full 😄

The Pointe at Morris residents are eating GOOD and loving every bite.
Way to go, Jasper—we’re not sure what we did to deserve you, but we’re not giving you back! 👏👨‍🍳
