provide emergency services that either sustain or improve the health of those we serve

provide acute inpatient and outpatient services for diseases routinely encountered by primary care physicians

provide specialty services within the defined scope of practice including clinic and surgical services

promote wellness through the provision of diagnostic health screenings and educational programs;

provide referral arrangements for patients requiring more specialized care

provide extended care and related geriatric services with an emphasis on rehabilitation

Just a reminder, today is the first of three Walk-In Wednesdays to get a Mammogram without an appointment. Times are noon-8:00 PM. Many experts, and several major medical societies, recommend that women who are at average risk of breast cancer get screening mammograms every year starting at age 40.

This is the recommendation of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

Women with a higher risk (such as a strong family history or a genetic mutation like BRCA) should talk to a doctor about starting earlier, often around age 30.

This significant contribution represents more than a financial gift—it is a reflection of the community's commitment to ensuring that Morrison Community Hospital continues to provide high-quality healthcare close to home.
