The Heritage Center The Heritage Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Morristown, Tennessee.

Located between Knoxville and the Tri-Cities area, Morristown, Tennessee, is home to The Heritage Center, a Life Care Centers of America facility. Approximately half a mile from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Lakeway Regional Medical Center, our facility is the perfect choice for individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and post-operative recovery. e features an on-site physician and a homelike environment to our patients and residents in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. Johnnie Southerland, Housekeeper, has been a dedicated member of The Heritage Center team for 10 years. 🏡🌟 She takes great pride in her work and loves residents like they are her own family, bringing warmth and care to everyone she serves. Outside of work, Johnnie enjoys spending quality time with her kids and grandkids. She also loves attending car shows and rod runs, making the most of her time doing what she enjoys. ❤️

🌟 Meet our Staff – Jenny Witt LPN 👩‍⚕️

💬 I graduated from Tennessee Technology in 1999 and have proudly been part of The Heritage Center family for the past 10 years. One of the things I enjoy most is not only caring for our residents but also bringing smiles and laughter to their day. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time at home with my fur baby, Harley, and making memories with my sisters. I also love traveling and riding motorcycles with my boyfriend, Dwayne. Building relationships, sharing laughter, and helping others are some of the things that bring me the greatest joy. 😄

🎉National Skilled Nursing Care Week was a blast! Here is a recap of some of our favorite activities and themes!

Day 3: 1960s Day! What a fun trip back to the 1960s! 🪩☮️ Residents enjoyed delicious French fries, classic Coke floats, a drive-in movie adventure, popcorn, and Coca-Cola while making wonderful memories together. 🍿🥤 🎬

Day 4: 1980s Day! We brought out our neon 🩷💛💚, roller skates 🛼, and big hair and played some of our favorite arcade games: skee-ball and air hockey.

Day 5: Red, White, and Blue Day! 🇺🇸 We wore our patriotic colors and had a great time at our cookout! 🍔 Thank you to Karen from Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, Inc., Jared from Gentiva Hospice, Raymond from UT Home Care Services, and Steve O. for the music and karaoke! 🎤

💬 "I love therapy! I love everybody here! They have been very kind and respectful." ~ Geraldine

Congratulations to Geraldine, who recently completed her physical, occupational, and speech therapies with us. She came to The Heritage Center after a femur fracture, unable to walk, stand, manage daily hygiene tasks, or dress herself, as well as having some difficulties swallowing.

💪 With hard work in rehab, she is now swallowing safely as well as independent in bed mobility and sitting balance, and she needs only a little assistance with walking and taking care of herself.
