The Heritage Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Morristown, Tennessee.

Located between Knoxville and the Tri-Cities area, Morristown, Tennessee, is home to The Heritage Center, a Life Care Centers of America facility. Approximately half a mile from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Lakeway Regional Medical Center, our facility is the perfect choice for individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and post-operative recovery. Our nursing hom

e features an on-site physician and a homelike environment to our patients and residents in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. We are proud to offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for our patients, and our team of therapists and nurses works together to create an individualized care plan for each individual in our care.

Elvis Week at The Heritage Center 🎸💙

We had a rockin’ good time celebrating the King of Rock & Roll during Elvis Week! 🎶 🥜🍌 We enjoyed delicious peanut butter and banana sandwiches, thanks to Karen from Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, Inc.

🎬 We watched "Jailhouse Rock" while enjoying peanut butter cookies and milk. 🍪🥛

🏖️ And of course, we wrapped up the week with an “Aloha for Elvis” Party, complete with tropical fun, music, and a beach ball game! 🌺🏐

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Elvis together! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped make Elvis Week at The Heritage Center one to remember! 🎤✨

You know you’ve found a pretty good place to work when you’re willing to hang out with your coworkers off the clock! 😂

The first-ever Heritage Center kickball game is officially in the books! 🥎 There may have been some questionable athletic ability, a few pulled muscles, and a lot of laughing… but we had an absolute blast!

What an incredible day! 💜👟 The ALPS Walk to Remember was a huge success! The Heritage Center staff, along with our families and friends, came together to support an amazing cause and honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders. 🌟 Employee Spotlight: Christy Jarnigan, LPN. 🌟

Christy has been an LPN for 11 years. She graduated from the nursing program at TCAT, which she highly recommends to anyone considering a career in nursing. 🩺 Outside of work, Christy enjoys watching action movies, a love she inherited from her late dad, Bobby Loftin. She also loves spending time with her family, taking rides to the Smoky Mountains, and walking the beautiful trails at Cades Cove in the fall to enjoy the vibrant colors of the changing leaves. 🍂 During the summer, you’ll often find Christy relaxing and swimming at her best friend’s pool. We're so grateful to have Christy on The Heritage Center team! 🙌
