😋 Our staff and residents always love when Karen with Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, Inc. brings us some sweet treats! She is the best cook, and we love when she visits!

🍑🍨 Karen served our associates some delicious peach cobbler for National Peach Cobbler Month, and she made some delicious chocolate brownies for National Chocolate Day! 🍫 Thank you, Karen, for always making the best desserts for our residents and staff!

On Saturday, our staff and family members participated in the Annual ALPS Walk to Remember! 👟💜 This year, we exceeded our goal and raised almost $2,000 for the organization! Also a big congratulations to our Nurses Madison and Taylor for winning most creative T-shirt design — again! 👕 They designed our shirt using resident and staff fingerprints to create the ribbon design. 🎗️ We are so grateful for this organization and everything they do for our community!

From dependent to home! 🏡

Lois was in bad shape when she came to us for rehabilitation after breaking her femur. Our therapy team worked with her to reach her goals, helping her regain strength, mobility, and function. 💪

"Therapy has helped me get back home," Lois shared. "I have more energy! I have enjoyed being here, and I have made a lot of new friends!" 🩷

🥧 Our awesome Dietary department made our staff and residents some delicious cherry pies for National Cherry Pie Day! 🍒 And my oh my, were they delicious! Several residents even requested a second slice for dinner!

😋 Our Dietary department is always willing to cook and help any way they can for any occasion we have. They are pretty awesome — we couldn’t do majority of our events without them!

☕ A big thank-you to Preston Bowen, Modern Woodmen of America for having Charis Coffee Van come and set up at our facility and provide all of our staff with a free cup of delicious coffee! If you haven’t tried Charis Coffee, then you are truly missing out! Her summer flavors are so delicious! 🤤

🇺🇸 We’ve been pretty busy celebrating America's 250th birthday! 🥳

Our Therapy department worked with their residents on making a homemade s’mores dip together during their group sessions! Working those fine more skills, the residents had the best time and enjoyed the finished product to eat. 🍫

We also enjoyed a cookout with a beautiful homemade cake made by our Dietary Director, Amber. Thank you to Ashley with Synergy HomeCare of Knoxville-Morristown who brought Bomb Pops for our residents, staff, and family members to enjoy and celebrate National Bomb Pop Day! ❤️🤍💙
