25 years ago I started writing, one year ago I picked it back up. Today I “finished.” Still needs edits, I’m sure many revisions. Maybe it sucks. maybe it won’t ever be more than a stack of papers in my office. Or Maybe it will be a book on your shelf. But right now I’m pretty darn proud bc I wrote a novel!!! And no - nothing to do with nutrition! 😆

Looking for a new way to eat melon? Try it with cucumber & basil! Dress it with olive oil, lime juice, honey & salt.

I used 2 cups melon, 1 cup cucumber, 2 tablespoons chopped basil, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1.5 tablespoons lime juice, 1 tablespoon honey, and sea salt to taste.

One of my favorite parts of running retreats is coming up with delicious, creative, healthier desserts. This treat featured a dark chocolate tart topped with almonds, cacao nibs, coconut and raspberry. The other dessert was lemon bars with wild blueberries. Both

“Nose to tail” cooking with carrots! 🥕
making my carrot ginger soup for the upcoming PAUSE spring retreat. And using every part of the carrot, the tops will go in my discard bag and used for making vegetable broth, and peelings will go to the chickens. They love them.!

Perfecting my gluten free raspberry muffin recipe for the Retreat. Trying one batch with almond flour + oat flour and the other with almond flour + buckwheat flour.

What would you prefer? I have a clear winner.
