This week joy was:
Wood chipping some invasive trees we removed around our house, and collecting the chips in wheelbarrows to then mulch around my garden beds.
Mulberry picking with my sisters and nephews
Preping for a June beach trip by making after sun lotion with fresh cut aloe from my house plants. I don’t usually make this available on my website but DM and and I’ll ship you some. Also great for eczema, sun burns and rashes.
Herbal salt - making some wedding gifts for friends this year. This salt is flavored with garlic chives from the garden. I’ll post an easy recipe soon.
Obsessed with this audio book right now as I work in the apothecary and garden - Beach Read by Emily Henry . The banter between these characters is so good.
My nephew got face paint to look like my dog. It’s the whole point to this wild life - having your little critters be obsessed with each other and getting to witness it over and over again.
