What better way to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day than with a classic summertime favorite! 🍨🥤

Our residents enjoyed delicious root beer floats today while spending time together, sharing laughs, and cooling off with a sweet treat.

August is also Be Kind to Humankind Month, reminding us that even the simplest gestures can brighten someone’s day. 💛 Sometimes kindness looks like a friendly conversation, a shared laugh, or enjoying a root beer float with a neighbor!

Our Rainbow Rally was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of fun as residents came together to connect and enjoy time with one another! 🌈🎉

One of the highlights was our Rally Ball Challenge, where everyone worked together to keep the ball in the air and build up our score. The cheering got louder with every hit, and we ended the day with a high score of 22! 🏐🙌

Now the challenge is on—can we beat 22 at our next Rainbow Rally? 🌈✨

Our Wellness Wednesday was all about spreading smiles and a little kindness today! 😊💕

Ginger stopped by Buckingham to brighten everyone’s day with some dancing, lots of smiles, and sweet treats for our residents. 🍪💃✨ There was plenty of laughter as Ginger made her way around the community sharing a little extra joy wherever she went!

Sometimes a smile, a treat, and a little dancing are just what you need to make someone’s day brighter. 💛

A special thank you to Cornerstone Caregiving for hosting another wonderful Veterans Breakfast for our residents this July! 🇺🇸❤️

Our veterans enjoyed a delicious breakfast, great conversation, and time together with fellow veterans. This month was made even more special with a surprise guest who joined us for the morning!

We truly appreciate Cornerstone Caregiving for continuing to help us honor and celebrate the incredible men and women in our community who have served our country. 🇺🇸

Our Friday Happy Hour was extra sweet as we celebrated National Milk Chocolate Day! 🍫🍨🎉

Residents enjoyed delicious brownie à la mode while spending the afternoon visiting with friends, laughing, and enjoying another fun Happy Hour together.

We also held our drawing for residents who completed our survey! 🎟️ Three lucky winners took home chocolate bar prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, while our grand prize winner received a special Chocolate Lover’s Basket! 🍫🏆

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey and share their feedback. Your input helps us continue planning activities, outings, and experiences that our residents want to see!

Our Christmas in July Happy Hour was a wonderful success! 🎄☀️🥤

Residents came together for an afternoon filled with festive fun, laughter, delicious refreshments, and great entertainment. The holiday spirit was alive and well as everyone enjoyed celebrating Christmas a little early with friends.

We had an amazing time at our Disability Independence Day Fair! 💙♿

Residents explored a variety of informational booths, learned about helpful resources, and enjoyed hands-on activities throughout the afternoon. One of the highlights was our Walker Wash Station, where mobility devices got a little TLC, and our Walker Decorating Station, where residents added fun decorations and personalized their walkers with creativity and style!

A special thank you to Cornerstone Caregiving, ACG Hospice, Freudenthal Home-Based Healthcare, and AseraCare Hospice - Savannah for joining us and helping make this event such a wonderful success. Your support, education, and partnership made the day truly meaningful for our residents.

Together, we celebrated independence, accessibility, and the many abilities that make our community so special. 💙

Our Christmas in July Brunch was a delicious way to celebrate the season—summer style! 🎄☀️🍽️

Residents enjoyed a festive meal featuring roasted turkey, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, and a warm biscuit. To top off the celebration, everyone had the choice of a slice of pumpkin pie or rich chocolate pie for dessert. 🦃🥧✨

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, laughter, and holiday cheer as we celebrated Christmas in July together at Buckingham Senior Living!
