Robert Leon Borden, age 72, of Town Creek, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on February 5, 1954, to Chester and Maddie Borden. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Robert had a lifelong love of music and could often be found singing or playing one of his instruments. He enjoyed entertaining others with his musical talents and brought joy to everyone around him. His kind heart, warm smile, and love for people will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be Sunday July 12, 2026 at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home at 11:30am until 12:30 p.m. with services to follow. Graveside service will be at Cave Springs in Town Creek, Al.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Borden; his sons, Tracy Borden and Jessie (Neda) Borden; his daughter, Michelle Borden Smith; his grandchildren, Casey Borden, Riley, Emily, and Taryn; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Maddie Borden; and his sisters, Martha (Ron) Hamilton and Janice (Jimmy) Wood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Borden; his brothers, Bruce Borden and Randall Borden; and his sister, Annette Borden.

Kenneth Young Jackson, age 76, of Moulton, Alabama passed away on June 22nd, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

He was born on July 18th, 1949 to Allen and Mary Jackson. Ken was a brilliant, kind, and loving man who was passionate about his community. He loved God, his family, and taking care of people. Ken was a tinkerer extraordinaire, author, and a proud Vietnam veteran.

The family will have a celebration of life on July 11th, 2026 at 10:00AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Moulton, AL.

Ken is survived by his sons, John (Beverly) Jackson, Jeremy (Teah) Jackson and Austin (Mary) Jackson; brothers, Larry (Sue) Jackson and Andy (Kandy) Jackson; grandchildren, Henry and Max Jackson and Joseph, Josh and Justin Dobbs.

He is preceded in death by his parents Allen and Mary Jackson and stepmother Elsie Jackson.

Jaidia has grown up around the funeral service profession, working alongside her father for many years and developing a deep appreciation for serving families with compassion and care.

A recent graduate of Jefferson State Community College, she is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who combines her education with lifelong experience in funeral service. Known for her great sense of humor and kindhearted spirit, Jaidia brings warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion to every family she serves.

Whether Jaidia is assisting with arrangements, providing comfort during times of loss, or ensuring the highest level of care through embalming and preparation, her goal is to ease the burden on families and allow them to focus on honoring and celebrating a life well lived.

Outside of the funeral home, Jaidia enjoys spending time with her husband and their animals, as well as relaxing and watching movies.

In addition to his transfer responsibilities, Chris assists with funeral services and the day-to-day operations of the funeral home. Ellen Pigg is a well-known and respected member of our community. Working at Addison Floral and Gifts for many years, she has built lasting relationships through her hard work, dedication, and caring spirit. Billy and Debbie are lifelong residents of Haleyville and have spent their lives serving their community, their family, and their faith. Debbie has dedicated more than 40 years to customer service and retail management, including her work as a Dollar General Manager, florist, and customer service representative at Piggly Wiggly. Billy spent many years working in the mobile home industry, building a reputation for hard work, reliability, and integrity.

Together, they raised two wonderful children and are the proud grandparents of five beautiful grandchildren who bring endless joy to their lives. Their greatest passions are serving the Lord, helping others, and spending quality time with their family.

This December, Billy and Debbie will celebrate an incredible milestone—50 years of marriage. Their enduring commitment to one another is a testament to the values they have lived by throughout their lives: faith, love, dedication, and service.

While they often work behind the scenes and may not always be the faces you see, Billy and Debbie play an essential role in keeping our Funeral Home running smoothly and clean each day. James Yielding a funeral assistant, a native of Hackleburg, is a new face to our funeral homes, but certainly not to the area.

He retired from Wrangler after many years of dedicated service and has faithfully served as the pastor in Hackleburg for over 40 years. James and his wife, Tina, make their home in Hackleburg and are well known throughout the community for their kindness and servant-hearted spirit.

When he is not serving the Lord through his ministry or assisting families with visitations at the funeral home, James enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His strong faith, compassion, and commitment to helping others make him a valued member of our team.

Dale Cutcher a funeral assistant and creationist has served and dedicated much of his life to the funeral service profession. Throughout his years in the industry, he has compassionately cared for countless families as if they were his own. Dale has experience in many different areas of funeral service, and his knowledge, dependability, and caring nature are vital to our operations.

Dale works diligently behind the scenes to ensure that your loved one is cared for with dignity and respect and returned to your family as quickly as possible. His attention to detail and commitment to serving families help provide comfort during difficult times.

When he is not working—which is hardly ever—Dale enjoys spending time with his family, especially going out to lunch and dinner together. His commitment to serving others, both at work and in his personal life, reflects the kind of person he is.

Don is no stranger to this area. Since he and his family moved to Alabama in 2001, he and his wife, Kitty, have served our community through various civic groups. Don is a third-generation funeral director with over 50 years of experience and still chooses each day to help families in our community during their time of loss. His vast experience and knowledge are a tremendous resource to our company and the families we serve.

In his spare time, Don enjoys designing funeral home layouts and finding ways to improve funeral service facilities. He also cherishes spending time with his wife, Kitty, and values the many years they have shared together.

Gary Wakefield, a very familiar face to anyone around, has been an area minister for over forty years. Gary has had a momentous impact on many families he has served during his tenure as one of our funeral directors.

A graduate of Lynn High School and the University of North Alabama, Gary and his family attend church at Solid Rock Church.

Gary enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, who bring him tremendous joy. Known for his warm personality and caring spirit, he is often the one brightening the room and making sure everyone around him has a great day. His kindness, compassion, and dedication to serving others have made him a beloved member of both the community and Moulton Heritage Funeral Home family.
