This annual gathering provides an opportunity to learn, collaborate, exchange ideas, and celebrate the incredible impact of Community Health Centers across America.

For Delta Health Center, this gathering holds special meaning. Our story began in 1965 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, when Dr. H. Jack Geiger and Dr. Count Gibson helped establish a groundbreaking model of community-based health care designed to address not only illness, but the social and economic conditions affecting health.

As the first Federally Qualified Community Health Center in the United States, Delta Health Center is proud to continue a legacy that began more than 60 years ago. Today, we remain committed to advancing accessible, high-quality health care for the communities we serve.
