I'm so honored to be celebrating my 1st Anniversary with VIBE Integrated Health

🎉 Celebrating 1 Year with Cara! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Cara Winter, MA, and her one-year anniversary with VIBE Integrated Health! ❤️

Cara took a leap of faith on VIBE early on, joining us while we were still building, growing, and figuring out so much of what VIBE would become. A year later, she continues to be such a valued member of our team, bringing warmth, compassion, authenticity, and clinical expertise to the work she does with her clients.

And Cara has certainly stuck with us through some of the craziness this past year. Growth, changes, transitions, virtual work, construction delays, and everything in between! Her flexibility, patience, and continued commitment to VIBE have meant more than she probably knows.

One of the things I’m most excited about as we enter this next chapter is finally getting our team together in person at our new Bloomington office and getting to work alongside Cara.

Cara, thank you for taking that leap of faith on VIBE a year ago and for continuing to be such an important part of what we’re building. We are so grateful you’re here.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

If you’re living with a chronic illness, you already know—it’s not just physical.

It’s the constant mental load. The stress of managing symptoms, appointments, and medications. The anxiety of “what if today is a bad day?” The quiet weight of depression that can come from feeling misunderstood, isolated, or exhausted.

Chronic illness doesn’t clock out—and neither does the impact it can have on your mental health.

Some days, just getting out of bed is a victory. Some days, advocating for yourself feels overwhelming. Some days, you smile on the outside while carrying so much internally.

And all of that is real. All of that matters.

This month is a reminder: You don’t have to carry it alone. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Support is not a luxury—it’s part of your care.

Whether it’s therapy, community, boundaries, or simply giving yourself permission to rest—taking care of your mind is part of managing your illness.
