Hey, gang, I spoke with a gentleman this morning who is with the Southern Baptist Association and asked him about their disaster response in NC and eastern TN. The H-U-G-E overwhelming need at this time is for generators. They are specifically requesting 3500 watt ones that run about $800. If I can get 10 friends to give $80 apiece, we can enable them to buy one. If 20 friends will give that much, that makes 2, and so on. Onsite coordinators are looking for about 100 generators as well as cleaning supplies and chain saws. This is a desperate need right now.
Make your check payable to Upper Ohio Valley Baptist Association and mail to P.O. Box 695, Moundsville, WV 26041. Earmark it for "Disaster Response (Generator Fund)."
Then please share this request with 10 or 20 of your friends.
