We want to recognize 2 VERY Special Ladies, truly unsung heroes, on our teams at both Moundville & Sumter Health & Rehab!

Diane Johnson (left) & Leola Jones (right) both just tested and received their certificates as Certified Foodservice Managers (CFM)!!

Diane started at Park Manor as a dietary aide then moved up to the assistant dietary manager, and now at Moundville as their dietary manager. She's been with NHS 4 years.

Leola Jones has been at Sumter for 18 years as a cook and now the dietary manager.

Both of these ladies love their residents and are very involved with the service provided at their respective facilities. Congratulations to you both!!

Brett Milligan, Administrator of Hunter Creek H&R, Jennifer Carr, Administrator of Glen Haven H&R and Regional Administrator Casey Boyd visited Bevill State Community College today, providing lunch and speaking to the 78 nursing students graduating at the end of the month. There was great interaction and engagement from the students. At the end, the instructor came to us and asked us to come back in the Fall!! Last month, we were able to get the preceptor / clinical agreements signed for them to start in the Fall as well. Bevill State Community College is an excellent program & we’re excited to build this relationship with them!

πŸ’™πŸŽ‰ At Moundville Health & Rehabilitation, we recently celebrated the retirement of two extraordinary Certified Nursing Assistants whose dedication has left a lasting impact on our residents, families, and team.

Pam Harris is retiring after an incredible 35 years of service. For decades, Pam has been a familiar face, providing compassionate care and building meaningful relationships with countless residents and their families. Her kindness and unwavering commitment have made her a beloved member of the Moundville family.

We also celebrated Lenora Miller, who is retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. Lenora’s compassionate heart and exceptional care have touched the lives of so many. She has formed special bonds with her residents, and her patients have always adored her.

To Pam and Lenora, thank you for the love, dedication, and countless lives you’ve impacted throughout your careers. Your legacy of compassion and excellence will continue to inspire us for years to come.

We had a wonderful a event to celebrate 250 years of our great country. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² We would like to give a special thanks to Mary Ann Jones, Jonathan Rossell and Lawanda VanHorn-Rossell for organizing this event.
