The Flavors of Jamaica Chef's Table took us on a culinary journey, showcasing dishes that celebrated everything from the coast to the hills! 🇯🇲✨
Our talented dining team served a menu full of authenticity and flavor. To start, we enjoyed the Island Awakening, featuring drunken shrimp topped with a citrus sauce. 🍋 Next was the Golden Sunshine, a delicious butternut squash and ginger soup. Our personal favorite was the Tropical Garden, which combined watermelon with feta and was topped with jerk-candied pecans for a delightful sweet-and-spicy contrast. 🍉 For the entrée, we had the Yard Tradition Elevated, which included jerk chicken roulade served alongside sweet potato purée, charred broccoli, and a sweet pineapple glaze. 🍍 To end things on a tropical note, we indulged in coconut rum cake with compote. 🥥 What a delicious adventure! 🍴

This national day serves as a reminder of the importance of staying active as we age 👟, a goal our Members embrace. The Weller Life provides that our Members have access to not just occasional wellness experiences, but a calendar filled daily with intentional classes and exciting opportunities to engage with their neighbors. 💙🤍💚

Members gathered to assemble their kites and watched as they took flight in the wind—a beautiful sight that provided a wonderful exercise for the mind, body, and spirit. We loved tapping into our inner childhood with this craft and lit up with joy as we saw the kites soaring through the air. ☀️

We put on our aprons and got busy whipping up these delicious cheese biscuits. 👩‍🍳 What's a cooking class without enjoying the fruits of our labor?! As soon as they came out of the oven, we delighted in snacking on these tasty creations with our friends, and they were delicious! 😋
