Meet our team:

Hello my name is Valacity I am the Resident Care Coordinator for IRC. I am excited to be part of this team and join in the vision of revolutionizing the way our aging community is cared for. I have 15+ years experience in the health care field specializing in dementia/Alzheimer’s and end of life care. I am thankful for all the great facilities/companies and private families I have cared for over the years that have molded and shaped me to step into this role of leadership now where I am able to lead and guide wonderful caregivers into discovering their greatness. Within the company you will see me, relationship and community building between staff to staff, staff to residents and families etc. care planning, and quality assurance, and teaming with other admins to make sure we are maintaining wonderful care to your loved ones. A Jack of all trades if you will, but my passion is caring for others. If I don’t know an answer I’ll find it and we can learn something new together. I am honored to be working along side a great team and helping care for wonderful residents and their families. Thanks for entrusting us with them and we look forward to continuing to serve Salem and it’s surrounding areas.

Did you know we have 3 locations? 1 home in Mount Angel Oregon and 2 homes located in West Salem Oregon and we hope to expand and grow in 2022! We provide a home like setting that allows your aging loved ones to transition smoothly and comfortably into their next stage of life where their daily needs can be met without that hospital commercialized feeling. We offer spacious open rooms and common areas, allowing independence and safety for our residents. Whether you are a caregiver seeking employment or someone shopping around for placement and services we welcome you to reach out and set up a time to tour one of our homes. Here at Intuitive Residential Care, we off a unique care model that allows two care staff to five residents. This is how we keep you safe along with our residents, providing a supportive environment is important to us.

Being a level 3 home it is a requirement to be able to lift 50 plus lbs safely, two person transfers, know how to be creative and patient with cognitive decline and mild levels of behaviors. Cook, clean and keep a neat home.

Happy Valentines Day! Pictured is a custom painted valentine one of our lovely lady residents made to surprise her family this week. And I must say we have some very talented residents living in our communities. At Intuitive Residential Care we love to paint, draw and have tons of creative fun with our activities directors!! Continuing our education! Northwest Senior and Disability Services is offering 6 new classes this year. And today all our RCMs are enjoying taking time and learning new wellness care insights to bring back to our communities. It’s so fun taking notes and asking questions. We are doing what we love to do!! 😃❤️✏️📕
