The Summer School stopped by RCH and we put them straight to work!

Students rotated through stations where they learned how to Stop the Bleed with Alysha, searched for broken bones and made a body in X-Ray, suited up for a PPE relay with Hannah, got their workout in with Rehab, toured an ambulance, enjoyed story time with Ron, and met nurses while learning about tools used during a visit at MAMC.

From bandages and bones to Dr. Seuss, it was a busy afternoon showing a behind-the-scenes look at how RCH cares for our community every day!

After 18 years and some change, Fran is cashing in on a well-deserved retirement!

Always up for anything and service with a smile, that is Fran. From drawing hearts and nicknames on the to-go boxes to striking up conversations, Fran was in the details and made everybody feel like a somebody. We will miss her signature laugh, wit, and kindness but are rooting for her in this next, exciting chapter!

SLS has been busy this Mental Health Month!

They recently held a soda bar fundraiser with all proceeds supporting the Trent Stewart Memorial. Additionally, they delivered May Day baskets, held a Donuts and Discussion, raised awareness at the high school during the lunch hour, and provided staff with a Relaxation Room for a brain break.

Thanks for reminding us all that mental health matters and so do we. We’re lucky to have you, SLS. Thank you for being a great resource for our community…we appreciate you! 💚
