The Mt. Calvary Ambulance crew had a great time at yesterday's parade. Thank you to the Mt. Calvary Fire Department for putting on an amazing parade and picnic. We are fortunate to have communities that support these annual events! We hope everyone had a great time!

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded an Emergency First Responder Grant from Compeer Financial to purchase new emergency pagers for our volunteer first responders.

The grant is part of Compeer Financial's 2026 initiative to strengthen emergency response capabilities across rural communities by investing more than $1 million in 146 fire, rescue, and ambulance departments throughout Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

We are incredibly grateful to Compeer Financial for investing in rural emergency services. This funding will help ensure our first responders receive emergency notifications quickly and reliably, allowing us to continue providing timely, high-quality care to the residents we serve.

Roger was an EMT and one of the founding members of our ambulance service over 50 years ago. Thank you, Roger, for helping make the Mt. Calvary Ambulance Service what it is today. Way to go Briar! Briar is also a Paramedic for our service!

Not many people can say they do three jobs and do all of them well. Briar can.

Briar is part of the Wirtz family and part of the backbone of this company. On any given day, you might find him in the office, on a job site swinging a hammer, or up on a roof doing chimney work for our sister company Chimney Medics. He knows this business inside and out because he grew up around it. That kind of hands-on knowledge is hard to teach and even harder to replace.

Yesterday, members of the Mt. Calvary Ambulance Service and Mt. Calvary Fire Department had a great time attending Breakfast on the Farm at Tower View Acres!

We are proud to support community events throughout our service area and appreciate the opportunity to connect with residents, families, and visitors. Thank you to Town View Acres and everyone who stopped by to say hello. We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!
