Here is a camp for our youth!!!

Calling all demigods, heroes, and mythical creatures ages 8–13! Join us for Camp Myths & Monsters, an unforgettable adventure inspired by Greek and Roman mythology. Train like a hero, tackle legendary challenges, create myth-inspired crafts, test your skills in epic quests, and discover whether you have what it takes to go the distance!

We're also recruiting Teen Counselors and Counselors-in-Training (CITs) who are ready to develop leadership skills, mentor younger campers, and help bring this mythical world to life.

Thanks to those that were flexible and attended our impromptu June meeting for making fair crafts!

If you didn’t attend but still want to use the club’s supplies for rocking painting, paper flowers, clay art, paper bag/toilet paper animal crafts, comment below! We will get you supplies.

Please considering entering ANYTHING in the fair this year. Any club member that enters something earns the club $$ so we can do fun stuff!

VERY IMPORTANT DATE/TIME/LOCATION changes for our June and July meetings - PLEASE READ BELOW! ⬇️

There is a VA 250 parade in Woodstock on Saturday June 20th that will make getting back to French’s Dairy very hard. We have rescheduled our tour with them to Sunday July 12th at 3 PM.
*We understand this is our “optional” meeting of the year so attendance won’t be taken into consideration.

We’re going to keep the Saturday June 20th meeting but move it to the Mount Jackson Park at 3 PM. Kids can play on the playground and we will set up a few crafts kids can do to enter into the fair. We will bring entry forms. *As a reminder, our club gets $$ for every fair entry so help us fundraise by entering something!

A couple reminders:

1. Sheep, goat and hog weigh in is this Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday 7-8:30 AM. Both are held at Shenandoah County Fairgrounds.

2. Shenandoah County’s YQCA training is Wednesday June 24th from 6-8 PM at Peter Muhlenberg Middle School.

*more detailed information about both of these events were emailed from the Extension office yesterday.

3. Our June meeting is on Saturday June 20th. We’re touring French Brothers Dairy. We’ve delayed this for those attending 4-H camp. We hope you all have a blast!
