Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death int he U.S., with approximately 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occurring annually, and a survival rate of only about 10%

Immediate CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival, while early defibrillation with an AED can increase survival rates to 50-70% if delivered within the first few minutes.

Since about 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home, knowing these skills can save the life a loved one.
