Friends, just a reminder — Episode 3 of Rooted In Love is coming up this Saturday! 💚

This one is close to our hearts: Purity & Boundaries — Protecting Your Heart, Respecting Yourself, and Building Healthy Relationships.

So many of our kids and teens are navigating peer pressure, social media, and relationships without ever being taught what healthy boundaries actually look like — or that purity is about so much more than just behavior. It’s about self-respect, values, and confidence. This session is designed to open that conversation in a safe, shame-free way for the whole family.

Here are the details:

Since today is Sunday:

A healthy marriage isn’t two people pulling in opposite directions.

It’s two people learning how to walk together toward a shared purpose.

Relationships thrive when both people are committed not only to each other, but also to continued growth.

As you begin a new week, ask yourself:

“What is one thing I can do this week to help someone I love feel seen, valued, and appreciated?”

This conversation is personal for me. 💜

My close family member’s journey with fibroids and cancer showed me how important awareness, advocacy, and supportive spaces truly are for women’s health. I’m honored to serve as a facilitator for this meaningful discussion and grateful to be part of creating a space for education, support, and honest conversation.

We are proud to welcome Kenya Kilpatrick, LMFT as a featured speaker at the 2026 Fibroid Awareness Conversation Event, where she will also lead a special Girl Talk Session for youth ages 11–17.

Kenya Kilpatrick is a wife, mom of three, and proud grandmother of two who is passionate about helping young people understand who they are and how much they matter.

She has worked with youth and families since August 2020 at Youth Villages, where she has supported young people through some of life’s hardest moments. In July 2022, she started her own private practice, Lantern Lane Farm, creating a space where people can feel safe, heard, and supported as they grow. In April 2025, Kenya followed her heart and founded Before, After, & In-Between, a nonprofit designed to help youth and families have real conversations about identity, relationships, self-worth, and life in every stage—before, during, and after the hard moments. But beyond all of her titles, Kenya is someone who understands that life doesn’t always go the way we expect—and that doesn’t mean your story is over.

She loves traveling, creating new experiences, and encouraging others to step into who they were created to be with confidence and purpose.

We’re excited to introduce a NEW segment at this year’s event—Girl Talk: Real Talk About Your Body for ages 11–17! 🎀🍥❤

Girl Talk: Real Talk About Your Body was created to help young girls better understand their bodies, build confidence, and feel supported during an important stage of growth. These sessions provide a safe and welcoming space where participants learn what’s normal and healthy about their menstrual cycles, how nutrition and self-care impact their well-being, and when to speak up if something doesn’t feel right. This knowledge helps replace fear or confusion with confidence and a stronger sense of control over their health. To extend this learning beyond the sessions, a parent or guardian is required to attend alongside them, ensuring ongoing support at home.

Just as important, these sessions create an opportunity for girls and their caregivers to connect, learn, and grow together. Girls are encouraged to express themselves, ask questions without embarrassment, and develop pride in who they are, while parents and guardians gain tools to better communicate and support them. Sharing this experience strengthens trust and understanding, helping girls feel seen, empowered, and prepared to grow into confident young women.
