Happy Wednesday AND Happy Memorial Day week, friends!
This week we want to encourage you to take advantage of the long weekend and get outside! As we honor and remember those who have served our country, we also want to remind you that taking care of YOUR health is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and the people you love!
Here are some of our favorite outdoor activities to get your body moving this Memorial Day weekend:
✔️Take a walk or a hike- Even a 20- 30 minute walk does wonders for your joints, muscles, and mental health. Grab a friend or family member and enjoy the fresh air!
✔️Go for a bike ride- A fun low impact way to get your body moving while while enjoying the outdoors with the whole family!
✔️Swim- Nothing says Memorial Day weekend like a pool day! Swimming is one of the best full body workouts that is also incredibly gentle on your joints and spine!
✔️Stretch outside- Take your morning stretch routine outdoors! Fresh air and movement together are a powerful combination for your overall wellbeing!
✔️Play a backyard game- Co****le, volleyball, frisbee, it all counts as movement and it's a great way to stay active while having fun with the people you love!
Pro tip: Whatever you do this weekend, don't forget to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and listen to your body!
