Being told that donor eggs are your only option—or facing another unsuccessful IVF cycle—can feel overwhelming. There may be more to discuss.

At Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders, we welcome patients with complex fertility histories, including young patients with low AMH, those who have experienced several unsuccessful cycles elsewhere, and those other practices have turned away.

Dr. Check’s decades of fertility research inform our individualized approach. We take the time to review each patient’s history, previous treatment, and possible next steps—including whether further treatment with their own eggs may be appropriate.

A new Department of Defense benefit may help eligible active-duty service members preserve their fertility and protect their future family-building options.

Eligible service members may receive reimbursement of up to:

• $10,000 per year for egg preservation
• $500 per year for s***m preservation

TRICARE authorization is not required.

PREGNANCY BLOODWORK CALLBACK NOTICE

Monday, September 21st

If you are having pregnancy bloodwork performed on Monday, September 21st, please be advised:

You will NOT receive a callback from the nurse on Monday.

Your results will be reviewed, and a nurse will contact you on: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd

OUTSIDE MONITORING PATIENTS

If your outside bloodwork results are received after 3:00 PM on Friday, you will also NOT receive a callback until Tuesday, September 22nd.

Please continue your medications as currently prescribed unless you have been instructed otherwise.

⚠️EMAIL COMMUNICATION NOTICE

We want to make our patients aware that we experienced an issue with our email system yesterday. This may have affected email communication with our IVF Nurses, Regular Nurses, and Pregnancy Department.

Due to this issue, our nursing teams may have been unable to access or respond to patient emails, and some patients may also have experienced difficulty sending or receiving messages from our nursing departments.

We are actively working to resolve this issue and apologize for any delays or inconvenience this may have caused.

If you emailed one of our nursing departments yesterday and have not yet received a response, please be aware that the delay may be related to this email issue.

Please note that we will have modified office hours next week, with an early closing on Tuesday, August 18 through Thursday, August 20.

🗓️ August 18, 19 & 20
• Ultrasound appointments must be completed by 4:30 PM
• Bloodwork must be completed by 4:15 PM

Normal office hours will resume on Friday, August 21.

📢 Important Update: Same-Day Monitoring Results & Callbacks

To help ensure you receive your monitoring results and provider callback the same day, please note the following updated monitoring deadlines:

🟣 IVF Patients
⏰ Complete bloodwork and ultrasound by 12:00 PM (Noon) for same-day results and callback.

* If a morning ultrasound is unavailable, morning bloodwork is still required.
* Your ultrasound should be scheduled for the next available appointment.

🟢 Regular Fertility & Pregnant Patients
⏰ Complete bloodwork and ultrasound by 2:00 PM for same-day results and callback.

* If a morning ultrasound is unavailable, bloodwork must still be completed before 2:00 PM.
* Your ultrasound should be scheduled for the next available appointment.

✈️ Out-of-Town Monitoring Patients
⏰ Results must be received by 3:00 PM for same-day callback.

⚠️ Saturday Reminder
Baseline monitoring completed on Saturdays, or bloodwork performed by established pregnant patients without prior instruction, will receive results and callbacks on the next business day when our office is open.

❗ Please Note: Patients who do not complete monitoring by the deadlines above will receive their results and callback the following day.

These deadlines apply only to same-day results and callbacks. Office hours and appointment availability have not changed.

🇺🇸 Holiday Hours Update 🇺🇸

Please note our office schedule for the upcoming holiday weekend:

📅 Friday, July 3
• Office open 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM for essential IVF monitoring only.
• All patients must have a scheduled appointment.
• There will be no non-IVF baseline appointments, pregnancy labs or pregnancy ultrasounds.

📅 Saturday, July 4 & Sunday, July 5
• The office will be open for necessary and scheduled procedures only.
• There will be no monitoring appointments.
• Nurses will not be available to provide treatment instructions.

📅 Monday, July 6
We will resume normal business hours.

For our non-local patients: If you are scheduled for monitoring on Friday, July 3, please arrange to have your monitoring completed as early as possible with your local monitoring facility.
