Day 2 of the PSSE Schroth Basic Course: Let’s talk SCIENCE! 🧠🧬✨

Today, we officially traded the basics for a deep dive into the research, pathomechanism, and clinical assessment of scoliosis! 🔬📈

To fix a 3D curve, you have to understand the 3D “why” behind it. Our clinicians spent the day uncovering exactly how scoliosis behaves and mastering the precise diagnostic tools needed to treat it effectively. 🗺️🎒

What went down today:

A very special Day 1 of BASIC PSSE-Schroth.

Today, our virtual classroom stretched across the United States, bringing together a wonderful multidisciplinary group of professionals with one shared goal: expanding their knowledge and improving care for people living with scoliosis.

But beginning this course on September 11 also gave us an important reason to begin differently.

Before diving into biomechanics, clinical reasoning and scoliosis-specific care, we took time together to remember and honor September 11, 2001—25 years later.

There was something particularly meaningful about then looking across our screen and seeing professionals from different disciplines and different parts of the country gathered together to learn, collaborate and move healthcare forward.

Over the next three days, we’ll explore the evolving evidence, clinical rationale and algorithm-driven approach of PSSE-Schroth by Nikos Karavidasand how better scoliosis education can impact patients across the lifespan and across healthcare settings.

From our teaching table to screens across America, Day 1 is underway. 💻📚
