As we move in autumn, a reminder that September is Su***de Awareness month.
**988 is the number to The Su***de and Crisis Helpline**
My favorite artist is Chris Cornell, a prolific singer/songwriter, best known from the bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. He also had a thriving solo career, which included several songs for movies, even a Bond theme ("You know my name" from "Casino Royale").
On the outside Chris appeared to have it all: success, money, fame, a beautiful wife and three children.
In a moment of pain, Chris lost his life to su***de in one split second on May 18, 2017. Help was on the scene, but not fast enough to save his life, or to spare those who loved and admired him the depth of this loss.
To this day the hashtag from "Black hole Sun" has over 60K posts on social media.
His story is yet another example of how looks can be deceiving; how outward appearances can expertly mask pain and suffering.
