If you look at menstruation as something dirty. As something to be hidden. As something to be ashamed of.
It will be hard to honor yourself and your body through the cycles and changes that are pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
For centuries women met together during their monthly flow. Cherished the meaning of womanhood and the ability to carry another life.
Men revered women for the ability to tap in to the innate rhythms of nature with their moon cycle.
But somewhere we became disconnected.
We forgot about the beauty and power of the female body.
Let’s remember together. Let’s honor our cycles, even those that have passed. Let’s celebrate a young woman’s coming of age and explain the privilege of bleeding and carrying life force energy.
