Choosing a mosquito repellent can be a little confusing! In general both DEET and Picaridin can be used safely to prevent insect bites. The higher the concentration, the longer amount of time our kiddos have coverage (just like sunscreen works).
In general:
* We want to choose the lowest percentage of the chemical required to provide protection
*Kiddos under age 2-want to use as little as will be effective
* Long pants/shirts are a great physical barrier
