The real issue was never impact. It’s that they were never taught to land. Everyone trains the jump. Hardly anyone trains the down, the landing, the force absorption. And what goes up must come down.

I help women train that missing piece first, learning to catch and control their own bodyweight before we ever add height or speed, so impact stops jarring them and starts feeling controlled.

So they can finally get back to running, jumping, and playing on the trampoline with their kids, without bracing, without that “I did it once and paid for it for three days” feeling, in a body they actually trust.

Impact isn’t what hurts you. Being unprepared for it is.

Life is going to demand impact whether you trained for it or not, the curb you misjudge, the stumble, the kid who darts in front of you.

Avoiding it doesn’t keep you safe. It just leaves you with no buffer for the moment life asks.

Build the buffer.

That’s the whole point of Back to Impact.

It makes complete sense that you want to be careful. To protect yourself. To keep the pain from coming back.

But like anything in life, living on defense is exhausting. Constantly second guessing, avoiding, working to not get hurt, it actually burns more energy than building a body that can just handle it.

That’s where I see this differently than most.

That fear, “am I going to hurt myself again?”, and that doubt, “can I even follow through this time?”, they’re not character flaws.

And they’re not proof your body can’t handle it.

They’re a sign of something missing….
It’s almost never that you can’t do the work. It’s that no one ever gave you the right progression to get there safely.

A real, paced, smart plan built for your body, with someone keeping you on track, so showing up stops being a daily battle with yourself.

So stop asking “can I follow through?” or “will I get hurt again?”

Start asking what’s actually missing. What skill you just haven’t been taught yet.

Because that’s all this is. A skill. And skills can be learned.

That’s exactly how I coach, and exactly what Back to Impact is built to do.

If you love pickleball or tennis but you’re holding back, worrying that your knee or your back will flare….more core stability drills are not the answer.

These games demand real strength, power, and impact. Quick stops, hard pivots, reaching, exploding to the ball, absorbing force on one leg. You can’t plank-and-bird-dog your way to that.

And the reason you haven’t gotten there on your own isn’t effort. Returning to power and impact is a skill with a progression, and you can’t be the athlete and the coach at the same time.
