Just so you know …box jumps are NOT the only way to introduce impact back into your body.
And I would seriously NOT recommend starting there before you’ve even jumped on the ground.
I’m all for finding the VERSION of impact you can actually do right now. Not the version you see online that looks impressive. The version that meets your body where it is and builds from there SAFELY.
Part of the problem is we get way too caught up comparing ourselves to coaches who make the hard stuff look easy because they do it every single day.
That’s not a fair comparison. And it keeps a lot of women watching from sidelines, thinking they have to arrive at a certain fitness level before they’re “allowed” to start.
You don’t.
It’s that almost every “get back to impact” plan out there is either:
→ Too intense (which is why you quit by day 4, or worse, hurt yourself), OR
→ Too soft (which is why you technically kept going but never actually rebuilt the ability to handle real force)
Neither of those rebuilt impact tolerance in your body.
Back to Impact is neither. It’s a small group, a specific ORDER things have to happen in to rebuild impact tolerance without wrecking you along the way, and a real way to see yourself getting stronger week over week.
So the whole thing stops feeling like something scary you’re trying to psych yourself into.
It starts feeling like proof.
The women in the last cohort already had it in them. What they’d never had was the actual process to make it stick.
This isn’t a “try it for a week and see” kind of thing.
Rebuilding impact tolerance takes real progression, real dosing, and someone in your corner who can say “yes, ready” or “not yet” so you’re not guessing and then quitting when the guessing gets too heavy.
