Today, we celebrated my 10 years with Cypress Basin Hospice, and my heart is so full.

In October 2016, God opened a door for me to serve our community. I had no idea then what that opportunity would become, but looking back, I can see His hand in every part of the journey.

Over the last decade, CBH has become so much more than a job. It’s relationships, friendships, stories of lives touched, and a team that feels like family. It’s also deeply personal. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the impact of our care in our community and sitting beside my own dad as he transitioned from this world to his Eternal home.

This work has asked a lot of me, but what it has given me in return is immeasurable. It has given me purpose, perspective, and the opportunity to be part of something that truly matters.

Ten years somehow feels like a blink, and I can only thank God for the door He opened, the people who have walked alongside me, and the opportunity to continue serving the community I love.

CBH- thank you for being part of my story. It’s an honor to be part of yours. Here’s to all the lives we’ve touched, the memories we’ve made, and the impact still to come. Here’s to 10 more!💜

We talk with a lot of families during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and one thing comes up again and again: wishing they'd had certain conversations sooner. A will, a healthcare directive, a clear sense of what someone wants. These aren't easy topics to bring up at the dinner table, but they spare loved ones so much uncertainty later.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we honor the fighters, remember the loved ones we’ve lost, celebrate the survivors, and stand beside every patient and family navigating the journey.

At Cypress Basin Hospice, we’re here to bring comfort, dignity, and compassionate care when it matters most. Because until there’s a cure- care, comfort, and love will always be here. 🩷
