Today, we celebrate and honor the life of Mary Ethel Smith Hooks.

Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, caring aunt, treasured cousin, and a faithful friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

A skilled barber by trade, Mary served her community with dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Through her work, she built lasting relationships and touched countless lives.

Today, we honor her life, celebrate her legacy, and give thanks for the memories she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, her service, and the impact she made on the lives of others will forever remain in our hearts.

May her memory continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

Celebrating the lives of two bright young souls, sister and brother, Morgan and Gavin, whose lives were taken far too soon.

Morgan was diligently pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse and was on track to graduate in 2027. Gavin was preparing to enter his senior year of high school and would have proudly joined the Class of 2027 as well.

Though their journeys on earth were cut short, their memories, dreams, and impact will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.

Please continue to keep the Brooks, Kirk, and Thompson families lifted in prayer during this difficult time. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

Her life was marked by an unwavering commitment to serving others—whether advocating for children with special needs, volunteering through her church, mentoring senior citizens, or simply sharing kindness with everyone she met.

Mrs. Best leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, service, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the Best, Miller, and extended families during this time of loss.
