We are over the moon for the Purvis family on the much-awaited arrival of Baby Chip this winter! Congratulations!

Answering the two questions that everyone is asking:

1. Was it a surprise? Not to us. 😉
2. Do you know the gender? It’s a BOY! 💙

We’ve honestly known since Ellie was conceived that we’d try another embryo transfer. This little guy is what we call a “twin-bryo” to Eleanor Ray as they from the same retrieval/fertilization/growth process. He’s been frozen for a few years, but we’ve been praying for him the whole time. What was fun about this go-around is that we were able to keep it a secret from everyone to surprise them! We transported our embryos from Atlanta to Charleston last fall, and then we started this whole process again late January/early February. The meds, the shots, the appointments, we kept it all under wraps to give everyone the sweetest surprise. 🥹 Huge thank you to ReproductiveBiologyAssociates & Coastal Fertility Specialists for together helping us make this dream come true. We can’t wait to complete our family this Christmas. ❤️
