Surviving Sepsis Campaign guideline chairs and vicechairs outline recommendations most relevant to the emergency department, including earlier identification and treatment starting in the prehospital setting for adults and greater support for bedside ultrasound during resuscitation for children in a recent Emergency Medicine News article.

We were thrilled to welcome 17 hospitals from across the country who are working toward ICU Centers of Excellence designation to our ICU Liberation Simulation Course. These dedicated teams came together to strengthen their knowledge, build practical skills through hands-on simulation, and share ideas for advancing ICU Liberation in their own hospitals.

Thank you to all of our amazing learners and faculty for making the course such a success! We’re excited to see how these teams take what they learned back to their ICUs and continue transforming the patient and family experience.
