Obituary For Judith Ann Redd
Judith Ann Redd (Pass) 86, of Mount Shasta, California, passed away suddenly on May 27, 2026. GMA “J” (as she was endearingly known as), was born on November 20, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio.

Judy graduated from Columbus School for Girls, a private college-preparatory school. She went on to graduate from University of Miami majoring in Theatre production.

As time went on, Judy had three beautiful children and raised them, working two jobs as a single parent. Judy worked as an insurance claims investigator, fully involved in her role. Retirement came easy to help with grandchildren. Judy was a proud grandma and great-grandma. She loved being around family and friends.

Judy was a true Buckeye football fan, cheering for her team during the season. Judy was an avid reader of crime novels and culinary murder mysteries. She enjoyed listening to classical music, watching the Nutcracker ballet, and attended the Shakespeare in the Park Theatre productions.

In her younger years she would volunteer with the Picnic with the Pops and till this day kept up with politics and worked the polls. Her passions were being involved with the Eskaton Washington Manor as President and Vice President of the resident’s association. But her love for gardening filled her life with joy, “I am the happiest in my garden,” as she had most recently said.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Tina-Marie Pagan (h. William Pagan). Joseph Deliz, and Stacey Hanna (h. Craig Hanna), cousin, Bruce Bowers (w. Annie Bowers), and 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Moehler and Phyllis Pass, (Uncle) Donald, Sr. and (Aunt) Helen Bowers, and their children Donald, Jr. and Patricia Bowers.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 507 Pine Street, Mount Shasta, California 96067 on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm, with reception to follow at the Parish Hall.

Obituary For David Jesse Reece
It is with a heavy heart that I remember my dearest partner/fiance as well as a father/step father.

David Jesse Reece—known to those who loved him as Jesse—who brought immeasurable joy to all he knew. He passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will be cherished forever.

Jesse was a man of few words, but when he did speak, it always carried great meaning. He did not need to fill a room with noise to be heard; his presence was felt in every thoughtful action and every rare, impactful word.

He was the greatest gift of my life. He was more than just a partner; he was my constant support and my greatest friend. 11 years wasn't long enough.

He will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by: Tiffany White (partner/fiance), his beautiful 2 children. Michael Reece (son). Amber Reece (daughter), Cale White and Aurora White (Step children).

Forever in our hearts always.

Mt. Shasta Memorial Park celebrated Memorial Day with it's annual veterans observance and community Barbecue. Our event was well attended and featured guest speakers, live music and a veterans walk through the cemetery to honor our veterans that are buried there. Guests were treated to a delicious barbecue. It was great to see everyone and to pay tribute to our veterans. Special thanks go out to Shasta Bottling Company, Marge Wheeler (our guest speaker), Monty Messenger, the Mt. Shasta Elk's Lodge, Clarence Barger for his special music and the Cal Fire Bagpiper. We appreciate each one of you.

Also, we want to thank the staff of Mt. Shasta Memorial Park & Chapel for all of their hard work and dedication to make this Memorial Day special.
