Donald Ray Ensor, 92, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Thomas Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. He was born on September 17, 1933, in Mt. Sterling to the late Sidney and Newell Trimble Ensor. Don proudly served in the U.S. Army. A graduate of Mt. Sterling High School and the 1952 Trojan Football MVP, he remained a devoted supporter of the Trojans and enjoyed attending Mt. Sterling sports events throughout his life.
Don worked in Sales at US Steel Corporation in Cincinnati for 30 years and Trojan Inc (Saf T Cote lighting) in Mt Sterling before he retired.
Donald is survived by his 2 daughters: Kim (Jerry) Wilson of Mt. Sterling and Teresa Ensor of Arlington, TX; 5 grandchildren: Jessica Simpson, Partrick Simpson, Phillip (Melissa) Wilson, Nathan (Stephanie) Wilson and Nick (Whitney) Wilson; 4 great grandchildren: Klae Wilson, Addison Wilson, Jordan Farrington and Madeline Ramirez.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife Ann Otis Ensor; 3 brothers: Harold Ensor, Earl Ensor, Sid Ensor and 4 sisters: Elizabeth McClain, Roberta Smith, Pauline Moore and Elnora Profitt.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2026, at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14th. Officiating will be Hammer McGuire.

Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY.
Full Military Rites by the Montgomery County Post 22 American Legion.

Dorothy Jean Martin, 90, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Born January 24, 1936, in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Elizabeth McGrew Smith. Dorothy worked as a nurse with Gateway Home Health for 17 years. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and tending to her flowers. Her grandchildren were a great source of joy, and she loved spoiling them. Dorothy was of the Christian faith.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Raymond Martin of Mt. Sterling; 1 daughter: Michelle (Michael) Reed of Mt. Sterling; 1 son: Doug Martin of Mt. Sterling; 5 grandchildren: Chris (Shemeka) Martin of Mt. Sterling, Olivia (Adrian) Marshall of Mt. Sterling, Brooklyn (Bobby) Roberts of Wi******er, Jared (Bailey) Hatton of Knoxville, TN and Leroy Link of Mt. Sterling;5 great grandchildren: Ryleigh Martin, Kylan Martin, Emma Curtis, Tinley Curtis, Marlee Curtis all of Mt. Sterling; 3 sisters: Esther Ketcham, Ella Terry and Imogene Updike and 1 brother Luther Farley.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Michael D. Martin, 2 sisters: Louise Marie Grady and Betty Smith and a brother John T. Smith.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.
Visitation will be Monday, June 15th from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Officiating will be Pastor David Hale.
Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY.

Ethel Lynn Downey Welch, Age 61, born November 13th, 1964, passed away on June 9, 2026, at UK A.B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY surrounded by those she loved. Ethel, better known as Lynn or Peppy, was born Friday, November 13th, 1964, in Mt Sterling KY to Evelyn Neely and the late Taylor Downey.
Lynn loved spending time outside. Camping, swimming at the lake, sitting on her back porch. As long as she was in the heat of the sun, Lynn was happy. Lynn gained a love for tent camping during her childhood and spread that love to her children. In her later years, Lynn and her husband Tim upgraded their family to RV camping and never looked back. Lynn also enjoyed reading, puzzles, and hidden object games.
Lynn was a kind soul with a nurturing heart. Her free spirit guided her where she needed to be, from becoming a private CNA in Florida to becoming the Food Manager at Gateway Children’s services. She always found ways to make people laugh and would sometimes bring upside down prank candles home during her time working for Langley Candle. Lynn dedicated herself to family, sacrificing her career multiple times to stay home with family members in need. Lynn was of the Christian faith.
Lynn is survived by her mother, Evelyn Neely (Douglas) of Mt Sterling; Husband, Tim Welch of Mt Sterling; four brothers: Roy Downey (Kim) of Pikeville, Tim Downey of Miami, Florida, Amos Downey of Mt Sterling and Jason Downey (Stacy) of Mt Sterling; two daughters: Heidi Smith (fiancé Tyler Dupre) of Frankfort and Heather Smith (fiancé Zack Douglas) of Mt Sterling; three step children: Christian Welch (Jalana) of Somerset, Lucas Welch (Bethany) of Somerset, and Hannah Gosser (Caleb) of Lawrenceburg; and 7 Grandchildren: Bradley Tomlison, Gracelyn Welch, Brayden Welch, Charli Welch, Taliesin Douglas, Emmalyn Welch, and Seraphine Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Taylor Downey.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11th at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.
A graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, June 12th at Camp Nelson Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.

Samuel Wayne Fuller, 45, of Olympia, KY, passed away at home on June 6, 2026. He was born on June 2, 1981, in Pikeville, KY, to the late Terry and Diana Hackney Fuller. Sam was a member of the Olympia Fire Department and Spruce Church of God. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and horseback riding, and took great pride in detailing fire trucks.
Sam is survived by his wife Kathy Reynolds Fuller of Olympia; 2 sisters: April Hall of Owingsville and Samantha Nye of Jeffersonville; 1 brother Matthew Fuller of Mt. Sterling; Several nieces and nephews: Brackon Curtis, Paiton Hale, Slade Hall, Cash Patrick, Matt Fuller, Jr and Holly Fuller; special brother Travis McKinney; special great nephews: Lane Curtis and Stetson Curtis.

Evelyn Gevedon, age 93, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 5, 2026. Evelyn was born October 1, 1932, in West Liberty KY, to the late Elijah and Hester Haney Gevedon. Evelyn was blessed to have come from a large family and to have had her own large family. She dedicated her life to caring for and loving her children and many grand & great-grandchildren. Evelyn was a member of the Christian Assembly of God.
Evelyn is survived by 3 daughters: Penny Lawson of Mt. Sterling, Cathy Lawson of Mt. Beverly Herrin Wagers, age 76, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY. Beverly was born on September 16, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Dewey and Ruby Hughes Herrin. She worked for the Montgomery County Schools until she retired. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a member of the Jeffersonville Baptist church.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Sherri (Ron) Woodley of Mt. Sterling, 2 sons: Brian (Amy) Wagers of Mt. Sterling and Larry Wagers, Jr. of Portsmouth, Ohio; 6 grandchildren: Sachia Woodley, Porsha Woodley, Trey (Chelsea) Woodley, Brian (Amy) Wagers, Ashley Wagers, Bailey (Hayley) Hall; 9 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Steve Herrin of Wellington, Roger Herrin of Florida, Rodney Herrin of Wellington; 3 sisters: Brenda Allphin of Ohio, Connie Self of TN, Vickie Pen*ston of TN; special nieces and nephew: Kathy McGuire, Shelly Slagle and Rick Penix.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Allen Lemaster of Camargo; 2 sons: Shawn (Elizabeth) Lemaster of Camargo and Allen Morgan (Dovie) Lemaster of Mays Lick; 4 grandchildren: Jacob Lemaster, Angelsea Lemaster, Kristopher Lemaster and Hunter Lemaster; 2 great grandchildren: Claire and Waylon; 2 brothers: Mike Centers and Billy Centers; a special sister in law Ruth Ann Bowles and several nieces and nephews.

Louise is survived by her son Douglas (Jeannie) Naselroad of Wi******er, KY; 2 daughters: Donna (Dennis) Trusty of Jeffersonville, and Annette Harvey of Mt.
