Introducing a New Tradition at Mt. Sterling Health & Rehab...
The Legacy Showcase - 'Celebrating a Lifetime of Memories'

Every family has a story.

Some stories are passed down through photographs...
Others through military medals, quilts, handwritten recipes, or treasured keepsakes. Some are lovingly carved from a simple block of wood. We are honored to introduce The Legacy Showcase, a new tradition dedicated to celebrating the remarkable lives, talents, passions, and accomplishments of the residents we are privileged to know.

Our inaugural showcase will feature the incredible Appalachian wood carvings of Farrell "Gene" Miller.

Completely self-taught through books borrowed from his local library, Gene transformed ordinary pieces of wood into beautiful carvings that reflected the people, traditions, and Appalachian heritage he loved. Today, those treasured creations continue telling his story and preserving his legacy for generations to come.

Several times each year, Sharon Tudor pours her heart into creating beautiful handmade cards for our residents. Whether it's Christmas, Easter, the Fourth of July, or another special season, her cards are always filled with thoughtful details and encouraging words. They've become so special that many of our residents recognize a Sharon Tudor card the moment they see one.
