ProVision Eyecare is a private optometric practice that provides exceptional care to patients throughout life. We provide comprehensive eye exams, treat eye diseases such as glaucoma and chronic dry eye, detect and co-manage retinal conditions such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, and are always available for emergencies such as ocular foreign bodies, infections, etc. We have close working relationships with specialists such as Barnes Retina Institute, Washington University Eye Center, Hayden cataract and LASIK and TLC LASIK.

It is with sadness that we must share that Dr. Edward Perry has passed away. Dr. Perry was instrumental in creating ProVision Eyecare as it is known today and had a great impact on the profession of optometry in Illinois as a whole. Many patients remember him as "that tall soft-spoken man." If you have condolences or, even better, thoughts and memories you would like to share please leave them in the comments and they will be shared with his family. As our website provider has been rolling out updates this week we have discovered that our web address has been accidentally linked to another practice several states away. Please know that our website is currently inoperable, we do NOT do online scheduling and none of those people work at our office. We are working to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

This recall involves generic and store brand drops that none of our patients should be using. During the last eye drop recall an alarming number of patients stopped using drops they need because they were unsure. Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to us with any questions!

The FDA said the eye drops were distributed by companies such as Kroger, Walgreens, H-E-B, Military Exchanges, and others.
