I asked my 6 year old to write a list of things that could help her rotten mood go away. She wrote: "Hug" & "Aromatherapy". Yessss! Introducing kids to aromatherapy is teaching them to experience life with all 5 senses! It also puts them in touch with nature on a deeply primitive level. Let them smell your oils & ask them to describe how it feels. Great sensory activity.

DON'T FORGET heat & light alter the chemistry of essential oils & other plant-based ingredients! DO NOT keep your oils in your pocket (body heat) or leave them in the CAR on a warm day. That product that "works so well!" may not work after exposure to these conditions. You should always store your botanical products in DARK (not clear), GLASS bottles. Be cautious if you purchase essential oil products that are sold in clear bottles, as they may have already been altered by UV rays.

Hello, my people! I'm back! 😁

Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn't. For the last 2 years+, I had to take a big step back, and entrust my beloved business to the lovely folks at Wild Valley Apothecary. Life got hectic! Besides raising 2 growing children (ages 12 & 14 now!), I had to do a lot of trips out of town for an extended period of time. It was impossible to find balance in anything for a while.

As life continually changes, I am once again able to transition back into my position as owner/operator, and I could not be happier about it! Man, have I missed blending oils!! I am back, and more inspired than ever! I have some great new ideas & offerings to come...as soon as I get settled in my new home-based location.

I am so very grateful for all of you who are still here with me, through it all. 24 years now, as a Clinical Aromatherapist. Helping all ages & walks of life feel better physically, mentally & spiritually. I care deeply about every one of you. You are a gift to my soul, and I thank you for continually supporting me, and Scents of Wellbeing.
