Today, it was our pleasure to host the quarterly meeting of the Missouri Veterans Commission. The halls were buzzing. Meetings are hungry work though. So, we made sure we had some quality smoked pulled pork for everyone today. Nothing puts a smile back on your face after a long morning session than good BBQ.

Elks Lodge #409 came down from Springfield for a big Bingo game with our Veterans today. And they brought a little something extra. They heard our annual Veterans Family Picnic was coming up and they wanted to be sure everyone eats well. So, they donated over 150 lbs of beef brisket for the smokers to make the day that much better. Receiving the donation was our wonderful Administrator April Cutbirth.

The Expedia Group brought in gift bags for every Veteran in the facility last Friday. The gift bags were full of much appreciated hygiene items and a thank you for each and every one of our resident Heroes. The lady Veterans even got some special ones. Thank you so much to Expedia and their committee that worked so hard to put this all together! Veterans and staff were all elated.
