Here’s something that might surprise you: 🧘🏻♀️🧘🏼
Yoga is over 5,000 years old — born in the Indus Valley, where ancient practitioners weren’t chasing flexibility or a toned core. They were seeking union — the Sanskrit root yuj literally means “to yoke,” to connect the mind, body, and breath as one. The earliest yogis understood something neuroscience is only now catching up to: that slow, intentional movement paired with breath is one of the most powerful tools we have to regulate the nervous system. To shift out of fight-or-flight and into rest, recovery, and presence.
Thousands of years later, we’re still using the same tool — just with a little more research behind it.
This Saturday, June 6th, we’re bringing yoga to Always Forward CrossFit — and your nervous system is personally invited.
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or you’ve never unrolled a mat in your life, this is your hour to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
