Job Summary: Registered Nurse
This position is responsible for assisting the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by preparing the operating room and equipment and assisting with patient care. This position would be responsible for providing IV conscious sedation during in office procedures, pre operative care, post operative patient monitoring, and other duties and responsibilities associated with operating in a procedure center. This position would also be responsible for assisting providers in clinic during non-procedure days. Experience in Cath Lab/Recovery or PACU is required. This is a part time position or possible full time position.
Responsibilities:
Prepares the angio suite for vascular procedures.
Ensures the sterile field is maintained during the surgical procedure.
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and team.
Responsible for IV conscious sedation during in office procedures
Maintains accurate documentation of monitoring patient during each procedure.
Assist with pre-operative care and post-operative care
Collaborates with other members of the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Maintains a clean and organized surgical environment.
Assists all providers during clinic on non-surgical days
Complete inventory within the pre operative/post operative and clinic areas
This is a COLA lab certified office; this position will include proper training to assist with COLA certification
Qualifications:
Certification as one of the following: Registered Nurse.
ACLS Certification
Knowledge of vascular anatomy, surgical procedures, and sterile technique is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Ability to handle stress and make quick decisions under pressure.
