Decatur Orthopedic Center

🐾 A little extra healing came with four paws today! ❤️

Our Physical Therapy patients and staff at Decatur Orthopedic Center had some very special visitors today—Copper, Rizzo, and Skylar from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs! 🐶

There’s nothing quite like a wagging tail, a friendly face, and a few puppy snuggles to brighten the day. Our patients loved taking a break from their hard work to enjoy some smiles, pets, and extra encouragement from these sweet therapy dogs.

A huge THANK YOU to the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and their handlers for spending time with us and bringing so much joy to DOC today!
Sometimes the best therapy has four legs. ❤️🐾

I just finished 9 weeks of physical therapy at DOC. Over the years, I have been to almost every PT center in Decatur and Mt. Zion. DOC is the very best. They have numerous staff, and at each appointment, a staff person spent a whole hour with me, addressing the issues needed. The staff are very professional, helpful, friendly, and personable. The results were positive.

🎉 Happy 13th Birthday, Decatur Orthopedic Center! 🎉

Thirteen years ago, on August 1, 2013, we opened our doors with a simple mission: to provide exceptional orthopedic care close to home.

What started as a vision has grown into so much more.

Over the past 13 years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients, expanding our clinic, growing our physical therapy services, and continuing to invest in the health of our community.

And we’re just getting started.

This year marks another exciting chapter as we break ground on our community’s only orthopedic surgery center—bringing advanced, high-quality surgical care to Decatur and Central Illinois like never before.

None of this would be possible without the trust of our patients, the dedication of our incredible physicians and staff, and the support of this amazing community. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.

Here’s to 13 years of helping you move better, live stronger, and get back to doing what you love—and to an even brighter future ahead.

❤️ Happy Birthday, DOC! 🎂

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at DOC!

Today, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the communities we serve, and the heroes who have helped make our country what it is.

We are grateful for the opportunity to care for our patients and their families every day, and we hope your Independence Day is filled with laughter, good food, fireworks, and time spent with those you love.

As you celebrate, remember to stay safe—whether you're traveling, grilling, enjoying the lake, or watching fireworks.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and safe Fourth of July!
