An ordinary guy. An extraordinary story. Dennis Gillan, Founder and Executive Director of the Half a Sorrow Foundation, lost two brothers to su***de — and turned his grief into a mission to help others.

Join us to hear him speak at It's a Tough Subject: A Conversation About Su***de on Saturday, September 12 at 6 p.m at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center. It could change how you see someone you love. The event is free and open to all.

Today we celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day 💙

In our inpatient behavioral health units, kindness is more than a gesture — it’s part of healing. A supportive word, a moment of patience, a listening ear — these small acts can make a meaningful difference in someone’s recovery journey.

We are grateful for our dedicated team members who show compassion every day, and for our patients who demonstrate courage, resilience, and kindness toward one another.

Healing happens here. And it begins with kindness.
