Not all leg pain is created equal.

Two people can point to the exact same spot on their leg and have completely different injuries.

One could have a muscle strain.
Another could have an irritated nerve.
Someone else may have pain coming from the hip, pelvis, or low back.

That's why the location of your pain is only one piece of the puzzle.

A thorough examination is designed to determine which tissues are actually involved. Through movement testing, orthopedic exams, neurological testing, strength assessment, and palpation, we can narrow down what's generating your pain and what's simply reacting to it.

When you know the tissue, you can choose the right treatment.

Instead of treating every case of "leg pain" the same, the treatment plan should match the diagnosis. Different tissues heal differently, respond to different interventions, and require different exercises.

A better diagnosis leads to a better treatment plan. And a more targeted treatment plan gives you the best chance of getting back to doing what you love.

Stop guessing. Start treating the right problem. Schedule your evaluation today and let's figure out what's really causing your leg pain.

Driven to Perform. Committed to Healing. Always Resilient.

"You're just flexible."

If you are on the hypermobility spectrum, such as hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), you've probably heard that before.

But hypermobility is more than flexibility. The connective tissues that support the joints may not provide enough stability, so the muscles work harder to keep everything in place.

The result?
⚡ Joint pain
⚡ Frequent sprains or strains
⚡ Joints that feel unstable or "slip"
⚡ Muscle tightness
⚡ Headaches, neck pain, and back pain
⚡ Fatigue from stabilizing the body

Conservative care can help. While chiropractic care can't change the underlying connective tissue, it can help manage many musculoskeletal challenges that come with hypermobility.

Treatment may include:
✔ Improving joint mechanics when appropriate
✔ Reducing muscle tension
✔ Building strength and endurance
✔ Improving proprioception
✔ Teaching movement strategies for better stability

One of the biggest misconceptions is that hypermobile people need more stretching. Many benefit more from building stability than increasing flexibility. The goal is better control, less stress on your joints, and more ability to stay active.

If you've been told "it's just because you're flexible," there's often more to the story. If this sounds like you, reach out to learn whether chiropractic care may be a good fit.

Concussion recovery is not always as simple as “just rest.”

While rest is important early on, many people continue to experience symptoms that affect work, school, exercise, sports, and daily life, including headaches, dizziness, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, light sensitivity, and exercise intolerance.

Medically supervised concussion care focuses on identifying why symptoms are persisting.

A concussion can affect multiple systems:
• Balance and coordination
• Vision and eye tracking
• Exercise tolerance
• Cognitive function
• Cervical spine (neck)

A thorough evaluation helps determine which systems are involved and guides an individualized recovery plan.

Guided activity is often an important part of recovery. Instead of guessing what is safe, patients are given structured progressions to return to work, school, exercise, and sport.

Every concussion is different. A comprehensive assessment helps identify barriers to recovery and provides a clear plan forward.

At Resilient Chiropractic, care focuses on evaluation, individualized treatment, and safe return to activity.

Hand numbness isn’t just a “hand problem.”

Common in:
• Hair stylists
• Desk workers
• Mechanics
• Dental professionals

But the cause isn’t always where you feel it.

It could be:
• Wrist (carpal tunnel)
• Elbow or forearm nerve irritation
• Neck involvement
• Thoracic outlet
• Even systemic issues

That’s why the exam doesn’t stop at the hand.

Chiropractic care focuses on finding the source, reducing nerve irritation, and restoring normal movement.

If it’s not a good fit, referral matters.

Don’t chase symptoms. Find the cause.

"I have neck pain, but I'm scared to get adjusted."
We hear this all the time. Here's what most people don't know: you have options.
Low-force adjustments use gentle pressure instead of quick thrusts. No popping. No twisting. Just effective relief.
Soft tissue therapy releases tight muscles that pull on your neck and cause pain. Think of it like a deep, targeted massage that actually fixes the problem.
Therapeutic exercises retrain your neck muscles so the pain doesn't keep coming back. Stronger muscles = more stable neck = less pain.
Bottom line: You don't have to choose between living with pain and doing something that scares you. There's another way.
Let's find the right approach for you.

How most weekend injuries start: “This will be quick.”

Then suddenly you are:
• lifting things you have not touched in years
• twisting in weird positions
• carrying things that are heavier than expected
• turning a small project into a 4-hour one

That is usually when the back or shoulder speaks up.

If a weekend project turned into lingering pain, getting it checked early can make recovery much easier.
